After a brave battle with multiple myeloma, PJ’s dear father passed away today at 79 years old. He did well with treatment and chemotherapy for many years, but in the end the disease found its way around all his defenses. Pete was loved by all who met him. He had an infectious laugh and a keen sense of humor. He took me in like a son and always made me feel special and part of the family. He leaves behind his wife of almost 60 years, Carole , his two daughters Pam and Kim along with an army of relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Famous for his verdant lawn and impeccable landscaping, he found pleasure in simple things like swimming in the backyard pool, barbecuing with family and watching his beloved New England sports teams on t.v. The world lost a little of its sparkle today. Pete, we will miss you terribly but know you are in a better place. You fought the good fight, never giving up and going out on your own terms. I deeply admire your courage and strength. We will always remember you with love and appreciation. Rest In Peace.
