We’ve been experiencing a wave of excitement at the ranch lately. Our dear friend Chris has come for a visit introducing us to his new girlfriend Ama. Our first few days were spent relaxing around the homestead, walking along the beach at Negra and adjusting to the Pura Vida pace of life.
We made a run over to Junquillal hoping to see the turtles released but we were a day late and a dollar short. We compensated for our missed opportunity by taking a sunset stroll along the black sand. Oso really enjoyed having new pack members at the house and I’m pretty sure the good vibes were mutual as the little black dog worked his charm on our visitors.
Tamarindo was a good stop for getting a little shopping in for the girls and grabbing a laid back lunch at a beach front cafe. We were treated to fresh tuna and fresh conversation as the sailboats swayed at their moorings just beyond the gentle waves. On the drive home, we stocked up on fixings for dinner at the AutoMercado and Ama put together a gourmet feast for our evening meal. Great getting to know her and spending time with an old friend.
