The first nor’easter of the year bore down on Rhode Island today. The remnant moisture from hurricane Willa combined with a low pressure system delivered strong sustained winds and dropped over three inches of non-stop rain. We hid out inside for the day only venturing out in our rain gear to encourage Cali to do her business.
A few of the other campers fled but a large number of hearty survivalists dug in and are sticking it out along with us to weather the storm. We did a lot of reading, working on music and playing a few hands of cards. Cali enjoyed our full attention and rested peacefully in her bed. After dinner, it was time for more binge watching of Game of Thrones. We are now into season six. A nice distraction on a rainy night.
Looks like BRRRRRRR to us! White stuff around the corner!
Go Sox Go! 😈
