Vagabundos

Today was a restorative day. I slept in a bit more than our usual and then we spent a few hours visiting friends on zoom meetings. The housekeeper showed up around nine, so we removed ourselves out onto the porch to while away the morning hours. The local birds and bugs were the stars of the show today. We never left the grounds.

Some swimming got done and some lounging in hammocks but not much more. I did a little research online and am putting together some ideas for side trips. The cat seems happy that we are chilling and she comes up whenever we are idle and finds a nook in an elbow or a lap to make herself comfortable.

Gallo pinto, salad and huevos. That was our simple dinner. Lots of lounging and browsing the internet. Some days just lend themselves to taking it easy.
